Born Margaret Mary Promney December 31, 1942
Died Margaret Mary Davis, Oct 4, 1982

Margaret
was a few years older than me. She
was close friends with my sister
Anne. But from what I can remember of her she was a wonderful person. She
loved people and especially children. She always had a glimmer in her eye of
fun. She had a very positive outlook on life She trained to be a
teacher
and taught school for many years. In her summers instead of taking it
easy she would go to Jamaica. Not for a vacation, but to help
missionaries. When she got married, she and her husband Rob, went to
Singapore as missionaries She was the mother of four lovely children. Sadly, she
died at the young age of 39, just months before my dad.
Her life, joy
and enthusiasm are greatly missed!
She too,
like Mom and Dad,
loved the Lord very much. She lived for him in every
aspect of her life. I know she is in heaven and is waiting there for all of
us.

This was
a favorite song of Margaret's.
I
believe it was played as the processional at her
wedding, and again, at her funeral.

Praise My Soul The King Of
Heaven
Praise, my soul, the King of
heaven;
To His feet thy tribute bring. Ransomed, healed, restored,
forgiven, Evermore His praises sing: Alleluia! Alleluia! Praise the everlasting
King. Praise Him for His grace and favor To our fathers in distress. Praise Him
still the same as ever, Slow to chide, and swift to bless. Alleluia!
Alleluia! Glorious in His faithfulness. Fatherlike He tends and spares us; Well
our feeble frame He knows. In His hands He gently bears us, Rescues us from all
our foes. Alleluia! Alleluia! Widely yet His mercy flows. Angels, help us to
adore Him; Ye behold Him face to face; Sun and moon, bow down before
Him, Dwellers all in time and space. Alleluia! Alleluia! Praise with us the God
of grace.
