Margaret was a few years older than me.

She was always close friends with my sister Anne,

but we all loved her and she loved us.

She was a wonderful person.

She loved people, especially children.

She always had a glimmer in her eye of fun.

She had a very positive outlook on life

She trained to be a teacher and taught school for many years.

In her summers instead of taking it easy, she would go to Jamaica, not for a vacation, but to help missionaries.

When she got married, she and her husband Rob, went to Singapore as missionaries

She was the mother of four lovely children, Beth, Stephen, Jon Mark and James.

Sadly, she died at the young age of 39, just months before my dad.
